Valisa Griffin

Valisa Griffin joined GSU as senior director of development in November 2022. Valisa’s career in the advancement sphere began in 2011 as the assistant director of the annual fund for Tusculum University in Greeneville, Tennessee. She expanded her annual giving expertise with a stint in leadership annual giving, serving as associate director of annual giving for Oglethorpe University.
Valisa transitioned into major gift fundraising as the director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she served for seven years.
Valisa is a native of Nashville, TN, and holds a B.A. in Communication from East Tennessee State University.
