Scott Morris
Part-Time Instructor History- Biography
Scott Morris is a Senior Historian and Environmental Planner at KCI Technologies. With 19 years of experience in cultural resources management, he has performed architectural history surveys and evaluations in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, Washington, Texas, and Puerto Rico. Scott is an active member with the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) and that organization's Southeastern chapter (SESAH). Along with his work at KCI, Scott has collaborated with institutions, design firms, and non-profit organizations as a historic resource consultant and researcher. He has led guest lectures and walking tours for UGA, Georgia Tech, the High Museum of Art, the Museum of Design Atlanta, the Georgia Trust, the Atlanta Preservation Center, the Atlanta History Center, and the Midtown Assistance Center. Scott was born and raised in Atlanta and lives in Ormewood Park.
