Rebekah is a Senior Lecturer at Georgia State University (GSU). She received her Ph.D from the Odum School of Ecology with a focus in conservation and sustainable development. She has worked on conservation and restoration projects in Córdoba, Argentina as well as Athens and Mountain Park, Georgia.
Rebekah is an active member of the Ecological Society of America, Society for Economic Botany, and the Mountain Park Watershed Preservation Society. She has extensive experience promoting sustainability initiatives on campus and in local communities as well as developing inquiry-based biological and ecological curricula.
She also enjoys running, hiking, and snorkeling in the ecosystems she studies.
