- Biography
A lifelong Georgia native, I've had the opportunity to work and train in various contexts across the state. Although I have a keen interest in adult therapy and counseling (having completed both my pre-doctoral internship and part of my post-doc at University Counseling Centers), the major thrust of my career has been in disability testing and diagnosis in the college setting. To that end I have had the opportunity to work at two Regents Centers for Learning Disorders, first at Georgia Southern while I was completing my doctorate and here at Georgia State University for the better part of the last decade.
In my current role as director of the RCLD at Georgia State, I have a hand in direct clinical services, training, administration, and consultation with a wide variety of institutions and individuals here at Georgia State and throughout the Georgia University System. I am also a co-teacher for the introductory Assessment class for doctoral psychology students.
