Nancy Duncan Porter

Nancy Duncan Porter joined Georgia State in 2020 with more than 14 years of higher education fundraising experience. She worked most recently as the Chief Development Officer at the Purdue Research Foundation in the College of Science where her work drove increases in funding to support students and research endeavors.
She launched two multimillion-dollar university facility campaigns and completed a $2.5 billion university campaign that successfully increased donor acquisition and donor support. She and her team secured a 131% increase in scholarship support, raised funds to support five new professorships and doubled the number of $1 million + gifts.
Prior to working at Purdue, Duncan Porter served as the Director of Development at the Ohio University Heritage College of Medicine. She also spent eight years in development officer roles at Kenyon College and Denison University.
