Melanie Fan is the Digital Storyteller/Social Media Manager for the College of Arts and Sciences where she will set strategy and manage the College presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn while also offering training and guidance to social media managers in the Departments, Institutes and Centers within the College.
She served as the first Social Media Strategist at the University of West Georgia where she created university social media policies and procedures, supported campus social media managers, and created and curated content for the institutional social and digital storytelling efforts.
Ms. Fan graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with dual degrees in Photojournalism and Religion. Currently, she is a Robinson College of Business student in the Flex MBA program with a concentration in Marketing.
