Jennifer Brown Parker
Part-Time Instructor Applied Linguistics and English as a Second Language- Biography
Jennie Parker has taught English as a second language since 2005. She spent a decade at the Georgia Institute of Technology, first in the role of instructional technologist at the teaching center and then as a lecturer in Tech’s Intensive English Program. She has also taught English in Turkey and in Chile, the latter on a Fulbright Scholarship, and has served on the U.S. Student Fulbright National Screening Committee. Jennie has led numerous instructor training workshops and has presented at local and international TESOL conferences. She earned a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) at the British Council in Istanbul. In addition, she holds a master's degree in applied linguistics from Georgia State and a master's degree in human-computer interaction from Georgia Tech.
