- Biography
Dr. Haoxin Wang is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia State University. From 2020 to 2022, Dr. Wang was a research scientist at Toyota Motor North America R&D’s InfoTech Labs, where he led the Edge Computing Roadmap. His current research interests include reducing AI’s carbon footprint with various applications, including autonomous vehicles, the Internet of Things, and Extended Reality (XR). In addition to his research publications, he is an author of 15+ patent applications. Dr. Wang serves as an associate editor for the IEEE Internet of Things Journal. He is also a technical program committee member for such international conferences as IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE MASS, and ICCCN.
