Christian Gallie currently serves as a Senior Educational Program Specialist in the Intensive English Program (IEP) at Georgia State University. He is mainly in charge of student activities and international student advisement. Prior to becoming a Program Specialist, Christian had taught ESL, EFL, College English Composition, Business English, and TOEFL Prep courses for over 22 years, in the US, China, and the Ivory Coast. He was the ESL Program Manager of Troy University’s Atlanta Campus for over 5 years before becoming the Academic Program Coordinator in Troy, Alabama. Christian specializes in curriculum development and program marketing. He has three Master’s degrees, in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University, in Managerial Science from Troy University, and in English from the Ivory Coast. Christian’s passion has been teaching international students and interacting with people from all over the world. He speaks multiple languages, including English and French (fluent) and Chinese and Spanish (elementary). Outside of work, he loves listening to music, watching movies and TV shows, and watching or playing sports.
