- Biography
Casey Cater is a historian of energy, environment, capitalism, and culture in the US South. His first book, Regenerating Dixie: Electric Energy and the Modern South was published by the University of Pittsburgh Press in 2019. His current projects include a book on the history of laundry and a web resource on southern energy history.
Dr. Cater teaches the US history survey as well as courses on American Environmental history and the history of the US South.
