Associate Professor of Spanish Linguistics. Her research focuses on the acquisition of grammatical gender in Spanish as a FL. And the effects of correction in writing in a FL. Currently she is exploring the acquisition of vocabulary by heritage and non-native speakers of Spanish. She hopes to soon be able to go back to her first love: Historical Spanish Linguistics.
