- Biography
Ann Williams (PhD, University of Michigan) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at Georgia State University. Her research documents the political, social, economic, and environmental implications of public engagement with media. Her work appears in peer-reviewed journals, including The International Journal of Communication, Communication Quarterly, The Newspaper Research Journal, The Journal of Communication, The International Journal of Public Opinion Research, Politics and the Life Sciences, Communication Research, Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, and the Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media, among others. She also serves on the editorial board for Communication Studies.
Dr. Williams advises dissertation and thesis research in a variety of areas and is currently welcoming new advisees.
