- Biography
Allison Asbrock is the Director of Community and Technical Services for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Historic Preservation Division. The Historic Preservation Division is the state historic preservation office in Georgia and manages federal and state programs, such as the National Register of Historic Places, environmental review (Section 106), the Certified Local Government program, tax incentives and grants. Allison specializes in local preservation planning, regulation, and design review. She also focuses on federal historic preservation grant management, including disaster response and recovery. Prior to joining the state office, she supported the Certified Local Government program at the State, Tribal, Local Plans & Grants Division of the National Park Service.
