Upcoming Yearly Events
Pre-Med Freshman Summit (Fall Semester)
This event is for all Georgia State and Perimeter College freshmen students who are interested in a pre-medical path. During this event, students are oriented to the study of health professions (medical, dental, pharmacy, physician assistant and other health professions programs). Through a series of workshops, you can get advice and tools to become a successful pre-medical student at Georgia State.
Fall Med Fest
Fall Med Fest is a series of sessions held annually in late September and early October. Georgia-based health professional programs are invited to our Atlanta campus to provide our students with small-group sessions in the fields of medical, dental, pharmacy and other health-related programs. Students can meet with admissions counselors from these various programs and learn more about their application and acceptance criteria.
Workshops (Ongoing)
The Pre-Med Team offers workshops each Fall and Spring semester. The workshops are designed to provide valuable information to pre-med students. Workshops have included:
• How to become a more competitive candidate.
• The application processes.
• Guidelines for establishing a committee file.
Professional School Visits (Ongoing)
Throughout the year, we have virtual and in-person school visits from both United States and International professional programs.
Health Professions Fair
Health Professions Schools/Exhibitors
The 10th Annual Health Professions Fair will be held on February 26, 2025.
Georgia State’s Pre-Med Team hosts their Annual Health Professions Fair each Spring semester usually in the last week of February or first week of March.
