We are thrilled to have you join us! Each fall and spring semester, the Office of Graduate Services will host registration activities, including our drop-in help sessions. Get more information below!
Visit the Office of Graduate Services during our new student help sessions for guided assistance with enrollment tasks and the opportunity to speak with advisors and fellow new students. Stop by when it is most convenient for you during either the morning or afternoon hours.
We can gladly help you:
- Activate your Campus ID
- Navigate the student portal (PAWS)
- Address any registration holds
- Collect immunization records
- Obtain your student ID
- Register for classes

This registration opportunity is NOT mandatory and is NOT an orientation. It's simply a friendly service for those who prefer to have in-person registration guidance.
Parking
Parking is available in Georgia State visitor parking lots for $10 (cash or credit). Parking locations and information can be found at parking.gsu.edu/parking-locations/visitor.
Public Transportation
25 Park Place is a short walk from Five Points, Peachtree Center, and Georgia State MARTA stations. For more information and schedules visit www.itsmarta.com.
Each fall, Georgia State holds an annual, university-wide orientation that offers new graduate students valuable preparatory information in the form of workshops, discussion forums, and a resource fair. At this orientation, students can learn about policies, finances, health insurance, and other on/off campus services.

The Office of Graduate Services will host online information sessions for prospective students, applicants,and newly admitted students in the College of Arts & Sciences. Advisors representing all departments will be available to answer your questions about the application process, admission requirements, the rigors of graduate school, living in Atlanta, and anything else!
