Guidelines for Acknowledgments
As a shared core facility with highly subsidized hourly rates, the Imaging Core Facility requests users acknowledge the facility in any publications that involve facility staff and/or equipment. Acknowledgments may be written as:
- Example 1: “Confocal images were acquired using the instruments and services in the Imaging Core Facility at Georgia State University.”
- Example 2: “The authors gratefully acknowledge the Imaging Core Facility at Georgia State University for their support and assistance in this work.”
Assistance above the technical and/or routine level, with any facility staff providing scientific input and expertise in experimental design, acquisition, or analysis, should be recognized through co-authorship on resulting publications.
