Spring 2018 Commencement

The 2018 Spring Commencement for College of Arts and Science undergraduate students will take place at 7 p.m., on Thursday, May 10, at the Georgia State University Stadium. A college Commencement for master’s students will take place Wednesday, May 2, at 3 p.m. in the Sports Arena. See our FAQ for more info about the master’s event.

Commencement at Georgia State University is a celebration of student achievement over several days. Associate, bachelor’s and graduate degree candidates, as well as Ph.D. candidates, will be recognized at ceremonies that will take place at various venues.

The commencement ceremony for College of Arts and Science undergraduate students will take place at 7 p.m., on Thursday, May 10, at the Georgia State University Stadium. Candidates will be recognized individually as part of the event.

Master’s degree students will be recognized by the college on Wednesday, May 2, in the GSU Sports Arena (125 Decatur St.). The event begins at 3 p.m. (student check in at 2 p.m.). The hooding ceremony for Ph.D. candidates will be on Monday, April 30 at 7 p.m. in the Rialto Center.
