Spring 2019 Commencement

Congratulations, graduates! Commencement at Georgia State University is a celebration of student achievement over several days in. Associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degree candidates, as well as Ph.D. candidates, will be recognized at ceremonies in various venues.


The commencement ceremony for College of Arts & Science undergraduate students will take place on Wednesday, May 8 at 10 a.m. in the Georgia State Stadium. Candidates will be recognized individually as part of the event.


Master’s degree candidates will be recognized by the College during two separate ceremonies on Friday, May 10 in the Rialto Center for the Arts. The ceremony for candidates in the natural and computational sciences will take place at 11 a.m. and the ceremony for candidates in humanities and social & behavioral sciences will take place at 3 p.m. For more information visit our master’s FAQ page at cas.gsu.edu/graduation-celebration/masters-faq.


The hooding ceremony for Ph.D. candidates will take place on Monday, May 6 at 7 p.m. in the Rialto Center for the Arts.
