Graduate Student Petition for Deviation from College Requirements

Please use this form to submit a petition to deviate from a regulation or requirement in the college's section of the university graduate catalog .  Your petition must be submitted to the Office of Graduate Services by the last day of late registration for the semester in which you would like your petition reviewed. The College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Petitions Committee typically meets at the beginning of each semester. You will be notified in writing of the committee’s decision. You are advised to apply at least one semester prior to your intended graduation date.
