Dr. Daniel Deocampo – Associate Dean for Research, Innovation and Graduate Studies
Dr. Deocampo has over 20 years of experience conducting geological research projects and applied geological consulting projects around the world. He has published over 35 peer-reviewed scientific publications and has led projects funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation, the U.S. Geological Survey, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Petroleum Research Fund, and the Departments of Transportation in both California and Georgia. He collaborates with environmental and public health scientists, anthropologists, biologists, chemists, geographers, and others to conduct research on both basic and applied research topics. He has presented his work at universities, conferences, and workshops on four continents, including at the White House.
