CAS UNDERGRADUATE CERTIFICATES
Pursue your interests and gain a competitive edge! The College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) offers diverse undergraduate certificate programs. These programs allow you to delve deeper into a focused field, enriching your academic journey while building a stronger resume for graduate programs or future employers. Earning a certificate demonstrates your initiative and specialized knowledge, enhancing your qualifications and setting you apart as a stronger candidate.
CAS undergraduate certificates are credit-bearing, transcript certificates that students can elect to pursue along with their degree program. An undergraduate certificate is a focused, structured, and interrelated set of courses that enhances the student’s undergraduate learning in an academic area or addresses a professional development need.
These certificate programs are intended for undergraduates at Georgia State, regardless of a student’s major. They're a fantastic option for students who want to:
- Dive deeper into a specific subject that interests them
- Combine their major with another field of study, creating a more well-rounded education
- Earn a recognized credential that showcases their additional skills and knowledge
- Potentially fulfill some of their degree requirements while completing the certificate
Current GSU undergraduate students need to submit the CAS certificate online application form. The student will be notified of the status of their application via email no later than a week from submission. See application below.
