Appointment only, please – no walk-ins. This will ensure that we can prepare for you and have ample time to answer all questions.
In your meeting with your academic advisor you will receive an application page, template (if needed), and the contact information for your faculty advisor. Your academic advisor will review the application process, eligibility requirements, and the general overview of your intended concentration.

Your faculty advisor is also a professor who works in the department of your intended major concentration.

You must have your faculty advisor's signature on your application/template before turning it into the 3rd floor of 25 Park Place - all applications will be turned in to this office regardless of credit hours.
No appointment necessary to turn in paperwork to 3rd floor of 25 Park Place

Once your application is completed and turned in, it will be reviewed by the B.I.S. Director for approval or if the template needs to be revised.

You will receive an email from the senior BIS advisor within 2 to 3 weeks after you've submitted your application. This email will either contain your welcome letter and approved application or proposed revisions you will need to complete to have your template reevaluated.

Your template will be applied towards your academic evaluation so that you may review your needed coursework at anytime.
Please follow it closely and note that if you need to make substitutions you will need to follow up with your faculty advisor (Note: you're only allowed 4 substitutions in your program.)
