Email your academic advisor and be sure to include the following:
Your Name
Your Panther ID
Your Current major
Your IDS concentration of interest: (these are) Asian Studies, Classical Studies, Environmental Science, Game Design & Development, Gerontology, Global Studies, Italian Studies, Law & Society, Media Entrepreneurship, Middle East Studies, Philosophy Politics & Economics, or Student-Planned.

If you’re still interested in applying for the program set up advisement appointment to review application process.
Appointment only, please – no walk-ins. This will ensure that we can prepare for you and have ample time to answer all questions.
In your meeting with your academic advisor you will receive an application page, template (if needed), and the contact information for your faculty advisor. Your academic advisor will review the application process, eligibility requirements, and the general overview of your intended concentration.

Your faculty advisor is also a professor who works in the department of your intended major concentration.

You must have your faculty advisor's signature on your application/template before turning it into 418 Langdale Hall - all applications will be turned in to this office regardless of credit hours.
No appointment necessary to turn in paperwork to 418 Langdale Hall.

Once your application is completed and turned in, it will be reviewed by the B.I.S. Director for approval or if the template needs to be revised.

You will receive an email from Katie Warner within 2 to 3 weeks after you've submitted your application. This email will either contain your welcome letter and approved application or proposed revisions you will need to complete to have your template reevaluated.

Your template will be applied towards your academic evaluation so that you may review your needed coursework at anytime.
Please follow it closely and note that if you need to make substitutions you will need to follow up with your faculty advisor (Note: you're only allowed 4 substitutions in your program.)
