Political Science Panel to Discuss Election Integrity

Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 five Georgia-based political experts will meet at Georgia State University’s Langdale Hall for a bipartisan panel on election integrity and democratic legitimacy. women hand casting a vote

The event, “Are Our Elections Safe?”, will feature Avery Davis-Roberts of the Carter Center, Page Gleason of Pro-Georgia, Michael Jablonski of the Georgia Democratic Party, Ray Smith of the Fulton County Board of Elections and Jennifer McCoy of the Georgia State Political Science Department. Carrie Manning, chair of the Georgia State Political Science Department, will moderate the panel.

The panelists will discuss topics including election fraud and the role of election observers and party pollwatchers.

The panel will be hosted by the Political Science Department in collaboration with the College Republicans, College Democrats, Political Science Graduate Student Association and Pi Sigma Alpha at 4:30 p.m. in Langdale Hall, room 1076.
